How can I submit photos to our yearbook?
If you have great photographs of Ivanhoe kids and events, send them to yearbook@friendsofivanhoe.org
Please
try to resize your image before you send
it. If you send every image at 1 MB our email system will
get full quickly, while too small images will not print properly in the
yearbook.
If you don't have a software that re-sizes photos, try this
free software.
Download Picasa.
And here are some guidelines for photos:

No image should be bigger than 500 pixels wide or 500 pixels high.

Generally it's best to keep images at no more than 300 or 350pixels wide or high. That way, text can flow around each one smoothly.

Ugly alert! Do not try to re-size a .GIF image. Only .JPEG or .JPG images can be resized well. GIFs look horrifically bad when you re-size them.

The yearbook is such a wonderful reminder of your children
throughout the year. Let's start early and make it a great one!
We need at least 4 dedicated parents to creating our annual yearbook. The book was done in InDesign last year - there are, apparently, school yearbook templates that can be purchased, but that's probably a last resort.

For the past few years our printing vendor has been Cal Litho-Arts, a local printer. They were so helpful and also send us 50 extra copies at no charge. We ordered 400 yearbooks.
